Joyana Poyotte Real Estate Inc. is a legal corporation that is an entirely separate entity from its owners and shareholders. The company which was founded in 2017 is owned by Joyana Poyotte, the sole employee. Joyana Poyotte Real Estate Inc’s headquarters is in Castries, St Lucia.

Joyana’s need to do more for herself and to control her own narrative made her start her business. Her inspiration derived from her need for independence.

“I started real estate 20 years ago where my market was my coworkers. More people started asking for assistance from family members working at the hotel. My son was 8 months old when I would take him to viewings because I am a single mother and sometimes life happens. I would have to walk acres of land with him strapped to my chest or he would be under a desk during bank meetings. He was unofficially my little business partner and my clients remembered and appreciated us for trying to balance work and family. I guess you can call him my first marketing ad. In 2017 when the company was registered my market grew to the rest of the world. Imagine I was one of the first agents to use BBM and WhatsApp for marketing.”
